Poster Preparation Guide
Please refer to the information below regarding the poster presentation guidelines.
To participate as a poster presenter, authors must prepare a poster summarising the essentials of their paper using the following guidelines:
Registration to participate as a poster presenter must be completed prior to February 3, 2010
- The poster should focus on providing visual representation rather than purely text information;
- The poster should reflect technical / scientific contributions and cannot be an advertisement for a product or a service;
- The poster must be prepared in English which is the official language of the Paste 2010 seminar;
- Authors are entirely responsible for the design and printing of their posters;
- The printed posters must be received by by Paste 2010 no later than April 1, 2010.

POSTER CREATION DETAILS
- Poster size: 810 mm x 1188 mm (A0 Format)
- Poster layout: The poster should be in portrait format
- Quality: The poster should be printed on high quality paper with photos (if used) of high resolution
- Paper type: at least 200 grams
- Paper finish: matte, not glossy
- Title: Poster should include a title of the project written using Arial font size 90 / space between lines “minimum”. Minimum is one of the paragraph formatting preferences that can be chosen when creating a Word document. “Minimum” is more than single but less than 1.5. Title must be left aligned.
- Authors Name: Under the project title, the author’s name, company and country should be listed. Author’s name should be written using Arial font size 50, space between lines “minimum”, aligned to the left.
Please follow this example: "John Smith, TEC Engineering, Australia." In case of multiple authors, please follow this example: "John Smith, TEC Engineering, Australia. Mike Wilson, SRK Consulting, Canada. Juan González, Los Pelambres Mine, Chile". In case of authors from the same company please follow this example: "John Smith and Mike Wilson, TEC Engineering, Australia".
NOTES:
- The Paste 2010 logo will be posted on each poster panel.
- Poster panels are standard and incorrectly formatted posters cannot be displayed.
- Paste 2010 will not keep any posters after the seminar is complete. Authors who wish to keep their poster should obtain them upon conclusion of the Paste 2010 seminar on Thursday, May 6. All unclaimed posters will be discarded.
